Bridge
Club
Our club will be starting again in October 2007. We welcome
new members and hope all our old members will continue. Please call either June

Have you heard about the wonderful
facelift our local tennis club is having? Construction began in early August
and will take the fall to complete. The re-opening is set for Spring 2009. At
that time, there will be a complete set of new courts, new fencing & new
lights. As well BVTC will be purchasing new tennis nets, new windscreens &
undertake the painting of the courts. The City of

selected, planted, toiled and tended the many planters along Burbank,
Hawksbury and Bayview Mews. The flowers and trees have been a welcome
addition – and they brought many members of the community together to work on
the project. And many people have reported that the planter’s visual impact
has helped to slow the traffic on these streets. Your continued support is needed – each planter requires weeding
– if you can spare a few minutes and weed one or two – your community – and
