NEIGHBOURHOOD
WATCH
What makes a good community is neighbours who look out for each other.
ADVICE ON REDUCING CRIME AND INCREASING SAFETY 1. Report suspicious activity
Give the police as many details as possible, i.e. description(s) of person(s) involved, license plate number(s), colour-make-model etc. 2. Stopping House Break-Ins There are certain weaknesses in houses, which increase the risk of break-ins. The Neighbourhood Watch Committee has attended a security seminar with the Police Dept. in which these weaknesses and ways to eliminate them have been pointed out. There are products available to help with this, if interested contact BVA via e-mail: Bayviewvill@bayviewvillage.org 3. Traffic and Pedestrian Safety 4. House Numbers and Emergency Situations If you have any suggestions as to how we can improve the safety of our neighborhood, please forward to us at our E-Mail address: Bayviewvill@bayviewvillage.org Ronald Choi Chair - Neighbourhood Watch Committee |
